He was predeceased by: his sons, Emilio G. Rivera Jr. and Francisco Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Rivera; his children, Ramon Rivera (Ivonne) and Jacqueline Rivera Morgan; his grandchildren, Ivonne Marie Rivera, Richard Joiner, Franchesca Rivera, Karla Rivera Plam (Andrew), Phillip West (Amy), Kevin West (Cecily), Christina Morgan and Yoemi Rivera; his great grandchild Emilana; and his sister Hulvia Rivera. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.
