She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sitz and Mary Sitz (Troy Chappell); and her siblings, Doris (Buck), Winford, Curtis, George Jr., Ola Mae Battles, Martha Baugh, Gertrude Marsh, Bertha Ashley and Caroline Smith.

She is survived by: her significant other Troy Chappell; her children, Rodney Chappell (Donna) and Pam Lueneburg (Dennis); her grandchildren, Kelly Bice (David), April Cannon, Christi Landrum (Jason) and Brett; and her brother Dav.
