He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Hazel; his sons, Mark Bangs (Anita) of Rainbow City and John Bangs (Nancy) of Tennessee; his brother Jerry Rogers of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Christina Burgess (Michael), Kelsey Hardin and Hank Bangs; his siblings-in-law, Helen Hulsey (Red) and Butch Ramsey (Nell); his aunt Edna "Shorty" Wilson of Texas; and his daughter Peggy Hardin of Ohatchee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McEntyre Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Jim Rogers.
