It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Modeana Thacker (Attalla, Alabama), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Waston Hood and Vinnie Esther Hood; her siblings, Max, Wanda, Buck, Helen and Gail; and her grandson-in-law Mitch Drew.
She is survived by: her husband Austin R. Thacker; her children, Cynthia Dinkins (Ronnie) and Timothy Vann Thacker; her granddaughter Leah Fitzgerald (Andy); her great grandchildren, Edward, Austin and Jacob Dinkins (Geraldine); her parents-in-law, Margie, Millie, Faye and Harold; Gus. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
