He is survived by: his wife Nancy Estes Butler; his children, Penny Smith (Steve) and Larry "Butch" Butler, Jr. (Kim); his grandchildren, Lee Barber, Kevin Barber and Christy Bearden (Chip); his great grandchild Spot; his sister Angela Wolfe; and his nieces, Marian Wolfe and Michelle Golden (Marc).
