She was predeceased by: her husband M. N. Maples; and her son-in-law David Moore. She is survived by: her children, Roger Maples (June), John Maples (Lisa) and Marsha Moore; her close friend Joyce Johnson; and her sister Billie Sims. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
