He is survived by: his wife Pandora Lemons Battles; his children, Preston Lamar Battles (Tanya), James Battles, Karen Stanfield (Alan), Jenean Battles and Mark Rakestraw; and his grandchildren, Joshua "Roy" Battles, Valerie Roberts (Kyle), Rachel Ferrente (Joey), Lindsey Stanfield (Patrick), Sidney Stanfield (Jake), Colton and Lucas. He is also survived by 8 Great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews who were all like his own children.
