He is survived by: his wife Jan Adams Brooks; his sons, Richy (Debbie) of Auburn, AL and Robin of Keener, AL; his grandsons, Caleb, Connor and Cade Brooks; his brother Clarence Brooks (Dottie) of Birmingham, AL; his uncle Dr. James Temple of Dadeville, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Bailey of Duck Springs, AL and Edna Russell of Attalla, AL..
