He was predeceased by : his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Venice Tucker Rains. He is survived by : his children, Brandi Rains of Tampa, FL and Misti Rains Kantor (Mark) of Auburn, AL; his grandchildren, Kolt Ashe, Riley Bryson, Jack Bryson and Kate Diann Bryson; and his sisters, Gail Hayes of Centre, AL. and Freida Ellis (Andy) of Centre, AL.. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Centre, 300 East Bypass, Centre, AL 35960 or Cherokee County Technology Center for a Vocational Scholarship, 600 Bay Springs Rd., Centre, AL 35960.
