Helen Overstreet Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 98, Helen Overstreet of Bay Minette, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Corley and Myrtle Corley; her husband Sherman Overstreet; her daughter Ophelia Mullek; and her siblings, Horace Corley, James Corley, Clarence Corley, Jesse Corley, Roy Corley, Crystal Corley and Lucile Corley.
She is survived by: her children, William Leon Overstreet (Barbara Jean) of Bay Minette, AL., Barbara Faye Paul of Bay Minette, AL., Mitchell Wayne Overstreet of Bay Minette, AL. and Claude Sherman Overstreet (Alma) of Bay Minette, AL.; and her sister Ruth Barac. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (42240 Pine Grove Rd, Bay Minette, AL 36507). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 42240 Pine Grove Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
