He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ellis and Jessie Weaver Ellis; his children, Kathy Ellis and Danny Ellis; and his daughter-in-law Renee Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Jean Cannon Ellis of Bay Minette, AL; his son Larry C. Ellis (Jane) of Stockton, AL; his sister Julia Williams of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his grandchildren, John Howard Ellis, Cora Ellis, Lauren Roberts and Shelby Robbins; and his great grandchild Wyatt Henderson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1628 Bay Minette, AL 36507 or to the Parkinson's Foundation Gulf Coast Chapter, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
