He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Beck Fitts Jr. and Blakey Fitts; and his brother Robert "Bob" Fitts. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Robinson Fitts; his children, Bridget Chambliss (Jimmy), Shelley Bedford (Robert) and Allison Atkins (Andy); and his brothers, Donald Fitts (Missy) and David Fitts. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
