She was predeceased by: her husbands, H. L. Cowan and Fred Ross, Jr.; her parents, James Lonnie and Clara Walls; her brother-in-law Norman; her sister Ann McWaters; and her stepson Bobby Cowan.
She is survived by: her children, Rene Ross (Sandy) and Guy Ross (Teresa); her stepchildren, David Cowan (Darlene), Fred Ross III (Reneea) and Joy Ross Davis; and her siblings, Herman Walls (Cheryl) and Maxie Walls (Janice). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, step-grandchildren, and great-nephews, great-nieces, and great step-grandchildren.
