She is survived by: her son Kenneth Carter; and her sisters, Wanda Cobb Linda (Virgil), Gwen Johnson (Roger) and Donna Cone (Joseph). She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers she has requested donations be made to Arnolds Chapel Church in Bluff Ridge, Alabama .
