In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Susan Renee leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Susan Renee may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her sister Wendy Pitts. She is survived by: her parents, Dorthy Pitts and James Hyde; her sons, James Franklin and Brandon Franklin; her grandchildren, Laci Franklin, Julie Franklin, Chevy Franklin and Isabella Redden; and her nieces, Elizabeth Cummings and Nona Pitts.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
