She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Charles Adams; her husband Steve Fortenberry; and her sister Becky Cleckler. She is survived by: her mother Gaye Nell Watts Adams of Billingsley; her children, John Harrington (Abbi) of Clanton and Leann Lenoir (Jordan) of Maplesville; and her sister Jenelle Peters (Mark) of Thorsby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery (4206 Co Rd 16, Clanton, AL 35045).
