He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Davenport and Evelyn Davenport; and his sister Ginny Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Edwards Davenport; his daughters, Karen Kornegay Price (Thomas) of Pulaski, TN and Stefani Davenport (Jamie Carney) of Theodore, AL; his sister Shirley Ezell; and his grandchildren, Alex Price, Lauren Price, Nathan Price and Kathryn Price.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Birmingham (2209 Lakeshore Dr, Birmingham, AL 35209).
