He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thomasson and Isabelle Thomasson; and his brother Burgess Thomasson. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Thomasson; his children, Leigh Brown (Lawson) of Venice, CA and Dan Thomasson (Carey) of Birmingham, AL; and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Maggie, Flynn and Hollis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Parkinson's Association of Alabama or the charity of your choice.
