She was predeceased by: her brother Don Littlejohn; her husband James H. C. "Pete"; her children, Martha S. King and James H. C. Solley Jr.; her grandchildren, William Scott King of Atlanta, GA and Jane Ellen Sims of Vestavia Hills, AL; her great grandchild Foster Reed Turner of Helena, AL.; and also Solley, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, John W. Sims (Laura), Anne Marie Schilleci (John), Kenneth L. Sims (Cindy), Jane S. Massengale (Bill), Alice S. Deason, Nancy S. Donahoo (Rex), Dan T. Sims and Robert L. Sims (Lisa); and also Indian Harbor Beach.
