He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kindred-Posey; his children, Adrienne Renee Posey and Art B. Posey Jr.; his wife Marie Posey; and his siblings, Willistein Smith, Vera Wilson, Henrietta Posey, James Posey (Dollene Posey) and Louis Posey (Ann Posey). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
