It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Spruiel (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Dora, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Johnson Beck and Ruby Velera Beck; and her brothers, Joe Beck and Ron Beck (Dick Spruiel). She is survived by: her children, Jerry W. Spruiel (Annie) and Jeanne S. Cathell (Steve); her grandchildren, Heather J. Stiff (Jason), Johnson D. Spruiel and Katie V. Cathell; her great grandchildren, Rachel Sidebottom and Gabriel Sidebottom; and her sister Jacquelyn B. Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
