He is survived by : his fiancée Mary Buchannon; his children, Cynthia (Charles Caver, Jr.), Deshontrice (Monderius McClellan), Rakeem Shabezz, James Adams and Brittany (Candace Lane); and his siblings, Kenneth Knox (Rose), Jerry Caver (Homer), Sandra Rhodes (Donnell), Ora Leak and Angela Wilson (Edward). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
