He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cecil Hazel and Vernice Cooley Hazel Weaver; his wife Betty Daniel Hazel; his children, Charles Hazel Jr. (Vicki) and Angela Hazel Milner (Bruce); his grandchildren, Charles Rudd (Kelli), Matthew Milner, Angela Sciascia (Jeff) and Rachel Mattioli (Brian); and his siblings, Joe Hazel and Janelle Sherrer. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
