It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles George Brown III (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 3, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles George Brown Jr; and his aunts, Kathryn Brown and Caroline Easter. He is survived by: his mother Jeannie Barfield Brown; his brother James Stephen Brown (Hala); his daughters, Anna Brown Millsaps (Grant) and Holly Brown Evans (Jay); his grandchildren, Henry Garrison Evans and George Chapman Evans; his sibling's children, Megan Brown and Matthew Brown; and also Mike Easter.
In 2015 he immersed himself into more musically-based projects via donations and working to raise money towards the restoration of the 100-year-old Birmingham landmark and beacon of history, entertainment and culture, The Lyric Theatre.
