He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo McNabb Phillips; his children, Charles III, Libby Shackelford (Larry) of Montevallo and Murray McNabb Phillips of Pell City, AL; his siblings, Avery Phillips, Jr. (Ann) of Montgomery, AL and Gay Donahue (Bob) of Montgomery, AL; his grandchildren, Charlie Goff (Heidi), Stephanie Goff Carter, Ashley Phillips and Logan Phillips; his great grandchild Cameron Goff; his parents, Madge Phillips and Avery Phillips; his sisters, Mary Jane Hearn (Dick) of Montgomery, AL and Key Young (Scooter) of Ashland; and also Phillips III.
