He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Dixon and Margaret Dixon (Peggy); his sister Carol Dean Dixon; and his son Bradford Dean Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Cristi Cannon Dixon of Birmingham; his children, Mark Edwin Dixon (Erin) of Montgomery, Cannon David Dixon (Emily) of Birmingham and Alice Caroline Dixon of Birmingham; his granddaughter Evelyn Louise Dixon of Birmingham; his sister Alice Dixon Grotnes; and his nephews, Alan Grotnes (Kerri) and Cal Grotnes (Elizabeth). He is also survived by four great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Huntington's Disease Research.
