He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thacker Wainwright; his daughter Elizabeth Wainwright Tanner (Chris); his grandchildren, Olivia, William and David; and his sister Ann Wainwright Cavaleri (E. E.) of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
