He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Rogers and Tonnie I. Clark Rogers; his stepfather Clyde P. Blakey; and his sister Patsy Ruff. He is survived by: his wife Georgianna Rogers; his daughters, Anna C. McConnell (David), Donna J. Rogers and Cheryl L. Smith; and his grandchildren, David McConnell, II (Lauren), Sara C. Crane and Hanna C. Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Earnest United Methodist Church, 3417 Warrior River Road, Concord, AL 35023, or Camp WheezAway 233 Canal Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092.
