With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Harris (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Vinegar Bend, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2019 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Oscar Wilson and Jessie Deese Wilson; her husband Howard Harris; her daughter Debra Renee Harris; and her siblings, Ernest Wilson, Vera Moulds, Oscar Wilson, Juanita Lane, Ernestine Arnett, L. B. Wilson, Jessie Wilson and Robert Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Harris; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Wilson, Emma Joyce Kay and Ann Bandgren. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many longtime friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doris' name to Luke 418 Fellowship, Lee University in Cleveland, TN or your favorite ministry.
