She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Neil McCarty; her sister Lois Flannary of Murray; her children, Judy Mann of Vestavia Hills, Larry McCarty (Patricia) of Hueytown, Randy McCarty (Lisa) of Harrison, Georgia McCarty and Kevin McCarty (Rebecca) of Dora; and her grandchildren, Ryan Mann (Alicia), Eric Mann (Meredith), Judge David McCarty, Carrie McCarty Copeland (John), Shannon Russell, Jeremy Pearson (Stacy), Elizabeth McCarty Vernon, Rachel McCarty Daniel, Coleman McCarty (Alayna), Taylor Brooke McCarty, Jessica Rogers (Jason), Justin Clements (Alyssa), Holly McCarty Varden, Hunter McCarty and Hayden McCarty.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her memory to Sandusky First Church.
