He is survived by: his wife Shirley Townley Braswell; and his siblings, Faye Braswell Walker (late Thomas G. Walker, Sr.), James Bryce Braswell of Weston, FL and Luther Joseph Braswell of Hoover. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
