She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Oliver Wilhite and Carrie Lillian Lasseter Wilhite; her husband James "Bertis" Whatley; her children, Tim Whatley (Cynthia) and Susan Keith (Jerry); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Whatley French (Nate), Nicholas Whatley (Brooke) and Michael Keith; her great grandchild Allie French; and her nephews, Otto and Edde Gaylord.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of The Church at Liberty Park.
