She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Ella Mae and Mary Jane Turner Moton; her stepfather Hopewell Moton; her siblings, Joseph Moton of Birmingham and Willie Deloris Moton of Birmingham; her children, Irvin Glen Moton, Leroy Moton, Jr. (Connecticut), Faruq A. Baqi (South Carolina), Todd Moton (Connecticut), Chad, Jasmine and Quarinesha (Connecticut); her wife Angela; her son Isaac Moton (Georgia); and her nieces and nephews, Elder Frederick Moton (Birmingham), Faye Moton Merchant (Birmingham), Vickie Moton Webster (Birmingham) and Carole Moton. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
