She was predeceased by: her parents, Einar Loftness and Dorothy Loftness; her sister Sharon Leclair; and her nephew Stephen Leclair. She is survived by: her spouse Charles Robert Dean, Jr.; her son Charles Robert Dean III (Mary Beth); her grandchildren, Emily Elizabeth, Caroline Siler and Charles Robert "Rob" IV; and her brother Delyle Hibler (Jackie).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham, 2121 3rd Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203.
