He is survived by: his wife Angeline J. Sperling; his daughter Evonne West (Marcus); his grandchildren, Madeline E. West, Matthew H. West, Jackson T. West and Marcus R. Swanson; his sister Alona Sperling-Cunningham (Jerry); his aunts, Christine Williams and Eunice Warfford; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma Doster (Foy), Willie Mae Ward, Marilyn Pretlow, Josephine Thompson (Leon) and Horace C. Jackson, Jr. (Monica). He is also survived by two nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of family and friends.
