She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Ulyses McClendon, Lee McClendon, Sr. (Natalie), Aleine Hicks, Freedia Ogden and Linda Gladney (Willie); her sister-in-law Mattie Ruth Bell of Ashland, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law Leila MacClendon of Radcliff, Kentucky. She was also cherished by two grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She also served as church secretary, church clerk, vice president of the charity benevolent.
