He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Hendon, Sr. (Father); and also Louise Nicol Hendon (Mother). He is survived by: his grandsons, Fred and Gery; his wife Gery C. Hendon; his brother Frank Hendon; his sons, Fred D. Hendon, Erik N. Hendon and Chris J. Hendon; and his grandchildren, Justin Hendon, Matthew Hendon, Cameron Hendon, Wesley Hendon, Christopher Hendon and Riley Hendon.

A reception will follow the service at the church In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America -- ALZFDN.org.
