He is survived by: his wife Mary Harvel Rhodes; his sister Sarah Smith (Fritz); his children, George Rhodes Jr. (Tammy) and Donna Bryan (Jay); his grandchildren, Madeline Childs (Cooper), Nic Bryan, Justus Pennington, Jarvus Pennington, Jonah Pennington and Gigi Pennington; and his great grandchild Sadie Childs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great friends.
