It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria H Vacarella (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on May 17, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Ross Vacarella and Stephen Vacarella; her siblings, John Harkins and Edna Harkins; Wesley Harkins and Charles Harkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Edna Vacarella Cody; her grandchildren, Christy Mayhall (John), David Thompson and Shawna Lynn Cody; her great grandchildren, John Ross Mayhall, Casey Mayhall, Matthew Mayhall, Kennedy Szczypinski (Brian) and Zackery Thompson; and her great great grandchild Brice Szczypinski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
