She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Hugh Sorrell, Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph E. Brent, Jr, Margie Godwin and Ann Parker. She is survived by: her sons, Bill Sorrell (Janis) and Bob Sorrell (Mary); and her grandchildren, Brent Sorrell (Michele), Ashley Gleiman (Ken), Clint Sorrell, Matthew Sorrell (Tasha), Amanda Bond and Many. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to Wilson's Chapel United Methodist Church, 412 Cumberland Drive, B'ham, AL 35206.
