He is survived by: his wife Doris Jerrell Jackson; his sons, Ed Jackson (Phyllis) of Birmingham, AL, Jerry Jackson (Carolyn) of Birmingham, AL and Roy Jackson (Lesa) of Birmingham, AL; and his sister Jan Gorman (Milton) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be make to Mountain Brook Baptist Church.
