It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Junior Higdon of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Higdon Aaron (Jeremy) and Allyssia Higdon; his siblings, Johnny Higdon, Todd Higdon (Shelia) and Connie Horton (Steve); his grandchildren, Austin Phillips (Ellen), Scarlett Phillips, Carter Rutowski and Brynlee Rutowski; and his niece Shae McDonald (Tyler). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
