He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Wesley Hogland and Ollie Delphia King Hogland; and his siblings, Ollie D. Hogland, Gerald Wesley Hogland and Elton Eugene Hogland.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Young Hogland; his son James Milton Hogland, Jr.; his wife Ashley Kimbrell Hogland; his daughter Aimee Louise Hogland; his grandchildren, James Cross Hogland and Meredith Hogland; his siblings, Merrall Delon Hogland (Cheri), Anna Lou Hogland Carey (Bodie), Janice Elaine Hogland Sargent (Dick) and Melba Sue Hogland Posey (William); and his siblings-in-law, Harold Lee Young (Georgia) and Janice Young Wilson (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
