It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilson Clayton Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Clayton, Sr. and Anna Sue Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Clayton; his sister Lodena Metts; and his children, Jan Bailey (Jerry), Donna Shoemaker (Bobby), Patricia Waldron (Lee), Debra Graham (late Danny) and James Clayton (Kathy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
