He was predeceased by: his parents, Kalliope Galantis and Zachary Galantis; and his wife Toula Galantis. He is survived by: his children, Carole, John Verner, Zachary, Anita Galantis, Colette and Terry Tsavoussis; his grandchildren, Nicole Vasilaros, John Connors, James, Bianea Galantis, Christopher Tsavoussis, Cally Galantis, George Galantis, Zachary Verner, Paul Tsavoussis and Kristina Tsavoussis; his great grandchild Christopher Connors; his cousins, Nancy Drakos and Emerald Chiotakis; and his sister-in-law Denise Malleos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.
