She was predeceased by: her husband Hoyt Brogdon; her parents, S. C. Mitchell and Doris Mitchell; and her brothers, Shat Mitchell (Farise) and Tom Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Brogdon (Ann) and Clay Brogdon (Kandie); her grandchildren, Patrick Brogdon (Tiffany), John Brogdon (Monica), Colleen Witherspoon (Chance), Clayt Brogdon (Michelle), Shane Brogdon (Jennifer), Whitney Adkins (Chris), Ty Brogdon (Lauren) and Allie Upton (Travis); her sister Jo Thompson (Martin); and also Andrea Lowery. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
