She is survived by: her sister Maryanne Wells; her sister-in-law Lena Colley; and her sibling's children, Wanda Freeze (Billy), Curtis Atkinson (Barbara), Tink Atkinson (Midge), Billy Colley, Richard Colley and Brett Colley (Peggy).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 6555 Cahaba Valley Rd, Birmingham 35242.
