He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Lois Livingston; his wife Kathy Brown Livingston; his son John David Livingston II; his daughter-in-law Jaimie Newton Livingston; and his grandchildren, Maimie Louise Livingston, John David Livingston III and Hardage James Livingston. He was also cherished by Brother-in-Laws, Sister-in-Laws, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family suggest donations be made to the Oak Mountain Missions or to a charity of choice.
