He is survived by: his wife Sarah Scruggs; his daughters, Katherine Estes Billmeier, Marilyn Estes Beard (Todd) and Frances Estes Lindsey (Cooper); and his grandchildren, Arthur Todd (Beard, Jr.), Turner Estes Beard, Sarah Grace Lindsey, Elizabeth Jarrell Lindsey and Robert Cooper Lindsey, Jr..
