She was predeceased by: her husband Norman "Jerry" Barnes; her son Jeremy V. Barnes; her brothers, William L. Hulsey and Harvey P. Cowley, Jr.; and her parents, Harvey P. Cowley and Helen T. Cowley.

She is survived by: her son Judson Barnes (Aimee); and her grandchildren, Cole Barnes, Anne and Jeremy Barnes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

To continue Judy's passion for her church home, memorial donations should be directed to the Meadow Brook Baptist Church Building Fund.
